Sonangol, E.P., as the national concessionaire of the mining rights for prospecting, exploration, development and production of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons in Angola, hereby announces its intention, to launch license round before the end of year 2007, for the blocks named below:
- Block Onshore Cabinda Centro
- Blocks 11 and 12 (Onshore Kwanza)
- Block 9 (Shallow water)
- Blocks 19, 20 e 21 (Deepwater)
- Blocks 46, 47 e 48 (Ultra ultra deepwater)
In the due course the dates for the pre-qualification, bidding round and its terms of reference as well as other relevant information will be announced.
Roadshows
In order to provide the industry with technical information about the Blocks on this licensing round, Sonangol will held the following presentations:
- October 12- Luanda, Angola. At the Centro de Convenções de Talatona, starting at 8am.
- October 18-19 - Houston, Texas.
- October 30-31 - London, England.
